      Public Hearing Schedule for the Governor’s Change Package to the Proposed Supplemental Budget State Fiscal Years 2008/2009 (LD 2173)

 

On Tuesday March 11, 2008 and Wednesday March 12, 2008, The Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs and the identified policy committees of the Legislature will be holding public hearings in Room 228 of the State House on the Change Package  to the Governor’s supplemental budget bill for the 2008-2009 biennium LD 2173 "An Act To Make Supplemental Appropriations and Allocations for the Expenditures of State Government and To Change Certain Provisions of the Law Necessary to the Proper Operations of State Government for the Fiscal Years Ending June 30, 2008 and June 30, 2009”.  The proposed change package initiatives may be viewed at:

The committee will hear testimony only on initiatives listed in the change package as additions, deletions or changes.  The public testimony will not be taken on Part “LLL” of the change package as this was covered during the public hearing for LD 1932.

 

Due to the very tight timetable, the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs requests that testimony be limited to three minutes.
