JOINT STANDING COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCIAL AFFAIRS |
Public Input to Streamline State Government
The Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs would like to thank everyone who took the time to enter ideas to achieve savings in the operation of state government. The committee received a number of very good suggestions and included some of these in its final recommendations. While "The Initiative" to Streamline State Government has concluded its work and has released its report the committee is always interested in receiving ideas that will make state government more efficient and achieve on-going savings. Provided below are links to documents summarzing the public input received before the deadline, September 14, 2007. Any additional ideas for savings may still be submitted through the committee's staff office, the Office of Fiscal and Program Review:
