WELCOME TO LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION The Legislative Information Office is a nonpartisan public information office serving the Legislature and the public. The Office is a division of Information Services and operates under the auspices of the Legislative Council. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with extended hours during House and Senate sessions. The Information Office is a primary resource for information regarding the legislative process. Providing information on the status of bills currently before the legislature, committee meetings and schedules and legislative studies. The Office provides administrative support to Joint Standing Committees and has responsibility for facilitating the hearing process on Gubernatorial Nominations. The Legislative Information Office produces and distributes numerous reports. A History and Final Disposition of bills is published at the adjournment of each legislative session.
