About Rep. McLean

Rep. Andrew McLean is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Transportation.  Rep. McLean works at the University of Southern Maine as a student affairs administrator and is committed to growing Maine's economy through smart investments in education, workforce development and infrastructure improvements. 

While working at USM, Rep. McLean attended night classes to earn his master’s degree in public policy from the Muskie School of Public Service and was appointed in 2009 by Gov. John Baldacci to the Maine Commission for Community Service. Rep. McLean also serves on the Baxter Memorial Library board of trustees in Gorham.

Rep. McLean lives in Gorham with his husband, Kyle.
