Rep. Conover
Representative Jill Conover is serving her first
term in the Maine House of Representatives. She is a member of
the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Insurance and
Financial Services.
Professionally, Conover currently serves as a marketing director
for an organization that specializes in the revitalization of historic
properties. Speaker of the House Glenn Cummings recently appointed
Conover to the National Conference of State Legislatures’ Critical
Health Area Project. She also serves on local boards
and committees focused on public health and children’s issues.
Prior to joining the Maine Legislature, she was vice president
of marketing and development for an area nonprofit organization.
Conover is a seventh-generation Mainer and graduate of Waterville
Senior High School. She completed her bachelor’s degree at
Hood College in Maryland.
