Rep. Dianne Tilton

District 33

Representative Dianne Tilton, of Harrington, is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 33, which includes Addison, Beals, Cherryfield, Columbia, Columbia Falls, Harrington, Jonesport, Milbridge and Steuben.

Rep. Tilton holds a degree in journalism from the University of Maine at Orono and spent her early career with the Concord (N.H.) Monitor as an advertising account executive. Returning to Maine, she spent five years as the executive director of the Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. For the following 13 years, she served as executive director of the Sunrise County Economic Council, in Machias, working on numerous economic development programs in Washington County. She is currently a consultant with a CPA firm.

Rep. Tilton and her husband Aaron have a son, 22, who is an engineer, and a daughter who attends the University of Southern Maine.
