Rep. Jane Knapp

District 129

Representative Jane Knapp is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 129, which includes part of Gorham.

Rep. Knapp is studying social services at Southern Maine Community College. She has taught high school biology, and served three terms on the Gorham School Committee and nine years on the town council. She also served on the SAD 57 board of directors. Jane is involved in Rotary International, the Gorham Historical Society and the local garden club. She enjoys skiing, tennis, kayaking and reading.

Rep. Knapp has two daughters, one of whom is in law school. Her other daughter is a junior at American University.
