Rep. Jeffery A. Gifford

District 12

Representative Jeffery Gifford is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 12, which includes Edinburg, Enfield, Howland, Lincoln, Maxfield, the Plantation of Seboeis, and part of North Penobscot.

Rep. Gifford graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in 1964 and has worked at Lincoln Paper & Tissue for more than 40 years. He also served on the Lincoln Town Council for nine years, including two years as chairman. In addition, Jeff has coached football and is a member of the Masons and the Shriners. He and his wife, Irene, have three children.

Rep. Gifford serves on the Legislature’s Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee. He is also a member of the Citizen Trade Policy Commission. He represents Edinburg, Enfield, Howland, Lincoln, Maxfield and Seboeis Plantation, plus part of the unorganized territory of North Penobscot (including Mattamiscontis Township).
