Rep. Peter Edgecomb

District 4

Representative Peter Edgecomb of Caribou is serving his third term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 4, Caribou.

Rep. Edgecomb is a graduate of the University of Maine where he received a B.S. in 1963. He went on to receive his Masters in Education at the University of New Hampshire where he graduated in 1968. Rep. Edgecomb is a retired teacher and Superintendent of Schools. He is currently self-employed as a Christmas tree grower.

Rep. Edgecomb is very active in his community. He is a Caribou Rotarian and has previously served a term on the Caribou City Council. During a one year fellowship at the University of Maryland, he worked in the U.S. Department of Education.

Rep. Edgecomb is a member of the Methodist Church. He and his wife, Marjie, have three children.
