Rep. Bruce Bickford

District 70

Representative Bruce Bickford is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 70, which includes part of Auburn and part of Lewiston.

Rep. Bickford is a lifelong resident of Auburn and a two-term Auburn city councilor. For more than 30 years, he has managed businesses in central and southern Maine. Bruce is a founding member of the Small Property Owners of Auburn, a watchdog group started three years ago to monitor the city council following a taxpayer revolt. He recently made his stage debut in a production of the Cole Porter musical “Kiss Me Kate” at the Auburn Community Little Theater in the role of a gangster.

Bruce hunts, fishes and plays golf. He and his wife, Margie, have four children aged 12, 16, 22 and 28.
