Representative Stephen J. Wood
Steve Wood is the State Representative for House District 75, which includes the towns of Greene and Sabattus. Rep. Wood lives in Sabattus with his spouse Jean. They have three children.
Rep. Wood is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served for 20 years reaching the rank of E-6 as a hydraulics technician before retiring. Rep. Wood received many awards, citations and medals during his service.
Rep. Wood has been appointed to serve on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee for the 125th Legislature.
Rep. Wood is a registered Maine Guide.
He active in his community serving in the Maine Professional Guides Association, Sportsman Alliance of Maine, Sabattus Town Selectman and serves as the Chair of the Sabattus lake Dam Commission.
Rep. Wood represents the Oak Hill High School and Middle School along with Greene Elementary.
He lists his personal interests as hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmobiling, camping, kayaking and boating.
