Representative Allen Michael Nadeau
Rep. Allen "Mike" Nadeau is a Fort Kent native who owns and runs Mike's & Sons, a forest, lawn and garden center. The retail business deals in goods and equipment ranging from snow blowers and lawn mowers to tractors and logging machinery. Mike founded the company 24 years ago and his three grown sons all work in the business.
He formerly owned and operated a gas station in Fort Kent. Mike ran for office to take action for the northern Maine economy. "Manufacturing is gone, the mills are gone, and we need a market to we can sell our products with more equitable trade agreements with Canada," he said.
