Representative Howard E. McFadden
Representative Howard E. McFadden of Dennysville is serving his fourth term in the Maine House of Representative representing District 30, which includes Alexander, Amherst, Aurora, Beddington, Cooper, Crawford, Deblois, Dennysville, East Machias, Eastbrook, Franklin, Great Pond, Jonesboro, Mariaville, Marshfield, Meddybemps, Northfield, Osborn, Pembroke, Wesley, Whitneyville, Centerville Township, part of East Central Washington, part of East Hancock and part of North Washington and Northwest Hancock.
A retired educational administrator, Rep. McFadden attended the University of Maine in Orono and received his Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 1989. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959 and again from 1961-1963. He retired as a Corporal and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal.
Rep. McFadden is very active in community organizations including the Lubec Lions Club, the Maine Baseball Hall of Fame, and the Downeast Board of Approved Umpires. He also served as the Chairman of the Dennysville School Committee and attends the Dennysville Congregational Church.
Rep. McFadden and his wife, Mary, have one child.
