Representative Jane S. Knapp
Jane Knapp is the State Representative for House District 129, which serves part of Gorham. Rep. Knapp lives in Gorham and has two daughters.
Rep. Knapp is a retired Educator in the study of Biology. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Colby College. She also has a Master's Degree from the University of Maine.
Rep. Knapp will serve on the Environment and Natural Resources Committee and the Marine Resources Committee for the 125th Legislature. She has served on the following committees during the 124th Legislative session: Natural Resources, Legislative Youth Advisory Council, Bills in Second Reading and the Community Preservation Advisory Committee.
She serves her community being a Maine Handicapped Skiing Volunteer. She is also serves on the Gorham Recycling Committee and the Gorham Garden and Historical Societies.
Rep. Knapp enjoys reading and then sharing and discussing in a community setting. She also enjoys Maine's greatest resource -- its outdoors and all that it offers.
Rep. Knapp has two daughters, one of whom is in law school. Her other daughter is a junior at American University.
