Representative Dennis L. Keschl
Dennis Keschl is the State Representative for House District 83, which includes Belgrade, Fayette, Manchester, Mount Vernon and Vienna. He lives in Belgrade with his spouse of 40 years Constance and they have 2 children.
Rep. Keschl has been appointed to the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee for the 125th Legislature.
Rep. Keschl is a veteran of 31 years serving his country in the U.S. Army and the Maine Air National Guard. He started his military service in the U.S. Army serving in the Security Agency from 1969 to 1973. Rep. Keschl served in the Maine National Guard from 1979 to 2007. Rep. Keschl worked in Military Intelligence, Aircraft Maintenance, Commander, Logistics and Planning. Rep. Keschl is a veteran of the Vietnam War Era, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. His numerous military accomplishments include six Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards, two National Defense Service Medals and five Air Force Longevity Awards.
Rep. Keschl is the current Town Manager for the town of Belgrade. He has served as the Administrative Director and Director of Technical Analysis Division for the Maine Public Utilities Commission. He has also served as Director of the Bureau of Air Quality Control for the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.
Rep. Keschl serves his community outside of Augusta in the Belgrade Public Library, V.F.W., Reserve Officers Association and the National Guard Association of Maine.
His district represents the school districts of RSU 38, RSU 18 and RSU 9.
