Representative James M. Hamper
Representative James M. Hamper is serving his fourth term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 100, which includes Mechanic Falls, Otisfield and Oxford. He is currently serving as co-chairman of the Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Environment and Natural Resources and as a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Energy, Utilities and Technology.
Rep. Hamper received his Associates Degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Maine at Augusta in 2001. He is a carpenter with Bartow Construction. He remains active in his community as a member of the Rock-O-Dundee Snowmobile Club and having served both on the Oxford Budget Committee and on the Oxford Planning Board.
Rep. Hamper lives in Oxford with his with Lyn, where they are members of the Oxford Advent Christian Church. They have two children and two grandchildren.
