Representative Larry C. Dunphy
Larry Dunphy is the State Representative for House District 88, which includes Carrabassett Valley, Coplin Plantation, and the unorganized territories of Wyman Township in Franklin County and Wellington in Piscataquis County. District 88 also includes the towns of Anson, Bingham, Caratunk, Embden, Jackman, Moose River, Moscow, New Portland, the Plantations of Brighton, Dennistown, Highland, Pleasant Ridge, The Forks, and West Forks, and the unorganized territories of Concord and Lexington Townships, Northeast Somerset (including Rockwood Strip), Northwest Somerset, and Seboomook Lake, all in Somerset County. Rep. Dunphy lives in Embden with his wife, Cynthia. They have 3 children.
Rep. Dunphy will serve on the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee for the 125th Legislature.
Rep. Dunphy is a production supervisor for the pulping operation at Madison Paper Industries.
He is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served aboard the USS Fort Snelling, where he received a National Defense citation.
Rep. Dunphy attended New Hampshire Technical College, Kennebec Valley Technical College, and Beal College for Business.
He represents the School Districts of SAD 74, North Anson Valley, and Jackman.
Rep. Dunphy's personal interests include sport piloting, skiing, coaching, and being a Scout Leader.
