Construction Wage Report

The Construction Wage Report is a collection of wage data from the annual construction wage survey. The law governing the collection of this data is MRSA Title 26 Chapter 15 of the Maine Labor Laws. This survey is done each year covering the 2nd and 3rd weeks of September. The report gives the high, median, low, and average rates for many construction trades. The report compares rate changes over the past four years. The graphs show wages for the past three years for the eight trades with the highest concentration of workers, how the current wages compare to the rate of inflation, and the average wage changes by type of construction for the past four years.
