Purpose: To improve integration of functions across the Department through cooperation.

Problem Statement: Common functions are not clearly identified and understood and coordinated across MDOL resulting in wasted effort/resources.

Functions of Target Product/Process:

1. Identify all common functions including: mail, telephones, outreach, audits, reception, clerical, and others to be determined.

Measures:
Reduce the amount of resources utilized by MDOL on common functions by 20% by December 1, 2006 and by 40% by June 1, 2007. (Resources to be defined.)

Boundaries:
Outside DOL: Focus on us (first)
Parking lot for external duplication & items
