Bureau/Division Director’s Meeting

The following are points of interest that were discussed at the Bend the Curve portion of the Bureau/Division Director’s meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2005.

 

• The 23 VSM Projects are in various stages of implementation.  Jane requested Directors to stay up-to-date on implementations and Arthur submitted a new proposal to track implementation.

• One or two Directors will be called upon each week to report implementation progress in their Bureaus/Divisions. They will be notified before the meeting in order to have time to prepare.
• Focus will be on all changes and efficiencies that are being done, not just on VSMs.
• The following four Action Items were discussed:
• Design a template for reporting
• Develop a schedule for reporting
• Bring results to the ELT
• Identify additional Projects for the future
• Arthur will send a memo to the Bureau Directors and to the Commissioner about the Proposal.
• The Directors accepted the Goals and Measurements as written.          
• The BTC Project Teams will be consulted for input for the ELT monthly Agenda.
• The next VSM Fair will be on Thursday, July 21, 2005, at the Augusta Civic Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• The next ELT, both Groups I and II, will be at the St. Paul Center on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
