SOLAR Software

SOLAR libraries use the DCB (Distributed Consortial Borrowing) Millennium module for online requesting and lending. They also should have access to a telnet client such as QVT Term.

Libraries that wish full control of interactive editing, as well as the opportunity to download records from SOLAR and to search for records using the Z39.50 protocol have access to the Millennium Cataloging module.

Those with lesser needs can add bib records and item records, edit item records and delete item records using the browser-based WebWorks data entry software. (Planned introduction August 2006)
