Location: Towns of Howland and Maxfield; 5 mi. nw of Howland. The WMA is adjacent to land owned by the Penobscot Indian Nation, shown in dark green.

Habitat: An impounded, freshwater marsh (formerly Little Seboeis Lake); some forest uplands (40 ac.).
