Trapping Education Courses
A trapper education course teaches participants how to responsibly trap furbearing animals and provides a foundation of knowledge upon which to build. Topics in the 8 hour course include proper trapping equipment and use, responsible trap setting, the importance of good wildlife management practices, and habits and traits of furbearers. Students must pass a written exam. You must attend every day of the class in order to receive your certificate.
Total = 8 Hours
- Fur Management = 1 Hour
- Trap Setting = 1 Hour
- Handling Animals = 1 Hour
- Laws and Landowner Relations = 2 Hours
- Field Exercise = 2 Hours
- Exam = 1 Hour
