III. Rule Making
1. Emergency Rulemaking: Location and Preparation of Traps
Mrs. Erskine stated we had discovered that inadvertently, we had not filed the emergency rule on a permanent basis. We adopted the emergency in December of 2008 and thought it was included in the 2009 rule when it was filed, and it now appears that it needs to be readopted and put back into effect. We were doing an emergency rulemaking procedure again which meant it would take affect immediately, stay in affect for 90 days to get us through the current trapping season and in December it would be a Step 1 item on the agenda for a final adoption. It was basically the same rule we filed earlier, there were no changes.
Commissioner Martin stated it was the desire of the Department and we were seeking affirmation from the Council.
Motion made by Me. Goodwin and seconded by Mr. Witte to accept the emergency rule.
Vote: Unanimous - motion passed.
VII. Public Comments & Questions
There were no public comments or questions.
A motion was made by Mr. Goodwin and that was seconded by Mr. Witte to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 2:15 p.m.
