Termination of Registration

At any time after a lobbyist and client file a joint registration, the lobbyist may file a termination notice informing the Ethics Commission that the lobbyist is no longer engaged by the client. The termination notice must be filed within 30 days of the termination.

The termination of the registration relieves the lobbyist of the obligation to file monthly reports. The client and lobbyist must nevertheless file an annual report summarizing all lobbying activity for the lobbying year.
