The Career and Technical Education Team works with Maine's technical centers and regions, as well as the Maine Technical College System, to ensure civil rights compliance as mandated by the State of Maine and United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights.  The Team helps provide technical assistance to the State's vocational programs in the prevention of discrimination, harassment, and in sex equity program development.  This site is designed to be a resource for instructors, administrators and interested individuals in providing equitable and accessible career and technical education opportunities for all Maine students.
