The
Maine Humanities Council engages the people of Maine with the power and pleasure
of ideas. Both through our grant making and our own programming, we
support community programs in cultural heritage, contemporary issues, and
reading and literacy. Our Maine Collaborative division offers high
quality, content-rich and intellectually intense humanities programs for k-12
teachers both during the summer and the school year.Maine
