Program Description – written by Data Friendly

Data Friendly is a technology focused education company that offers a unique and exciting education program where we provide every student that completes our 70 hour program with a brand new Dell computer. We are in our 4th year of providing Supplemental Education Services and have worked with over 50 schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our program is open to students from grades K-12 and focus on both Mathematics and Reading.  We work closely with your child’s school to insure that our program supports the work that takes place at the school and we have staff available to tutor special needs students as well as English Language Learners. We provide teacher led as well as computer based instruction. Students are required to attend 70 hours of instruction (4 hours per week for 18 weeks). During that period they receive a pre and post assessment to measure progress. We provide group instruction (8 or less students per teacher) small group instruction (4 or less students per teacher) and Distance Learning. Students will be assessed in math and reading upon entering our program and an Individual Student Learning plan will be developed which identifies your child’s areas of need as well as set forth goals and timelines for which our teachers will use as a guide to help improve your child’s performance. Parents receive weekly progress reports and schools have access to our online reporting system to track the progress of their students. Finally, at the end of our program, Data Friendly purchases a brand new Dell computer system including Internet access and printer for every student that completes the 70 hours. Students then have free access to our Internet based education materials where they can continue to learn year round.
