Director - Jonathan LaBonte
Jonathan earned his BS in chemical engineering at the University of Maine in Orono and began his career as a consulting engineer in Massachusetts.  He returned to Maine to take graduate courses in public policy and administration at the University of Maine.  Later roles have included working in higher education, transportation planning and studying municipal service delivery.  Jonathan previously served as an Androscoggin County Commissioner and is currently in his second term as Mayor of the City of Auburn.


State Economist - Amanda Rector
Amanda conducts ongoing analysis of Maine's economy to inform planning and policy decisions, including performing special research projects undertaken with and for the Governor's office, the Legislature and other state agencies. She also serves as the Governor's liaison to the U. S. Census Bureau, is a member of the Revenue Forecasting Committee, and supports the director of the Office of Policy and Management on economic and tax policy issues affecting Maine. Amanda has a BA in Economics from Wellesley College and a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Muskie School of Public Service. She is originally from mid-coast Maine and now lives in Union.
