Dive Team

The dive team consists of ten members, eight fromState Police and two divers from the Maine Marine Patrol. The team conductssearches for evidence in criminalinvestigations. Theyalso conduct underwater crime scene documentation andinvestigation. Theteam also conducts search and recovery operations for victims ofmotor vehicle crashes, homicide, and other water relateddeaths. The team isoften called upon to search vessels and harbors in Maine as part ofHomeland Security.
