Troop D

Troop D is responsible for the mid-coast area of Maine to include Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Waldo, Knox counties and the southern half of Kennebec County.
The Troop also patrols Interstate 295 from Brunswick to Gardiner. The Troop's personnel include a lieutenant, three sergeants, 24 troopers and a secretary. The troop has operated out of a barracks along Route 1 in Thomaston since 1940. The building was renovated and expanded in 1994.
