Unsolved Homicides

There are approximately 20 to 25 homicides that occur, on average, every year in Maine. While the clearance rate on these cases is over 90 percent, some remain unsolved. This page lists a 40 year accumulation of victim names whose cases remain open with a brief synopsis. We continue to work on these cases and as always ask for your help.
