June 5, 2006: DPS Offers Server Training

B.A.S.I.C. is back, alcohol server education classes offered by The Department of Public Safety, Liquor Licensing Unit.

Starting July 2006, The Maine Department of Public Safety is again offering B.A.S.I.C alcohol server education classes to licensed liquor establishments and their employees.

An experienced Liquor Inspector will teach the 4-hour class. Topics covered: Maine liquor laws, visible intoxication, minors, false ID detection and liability issues. The cost is $28.00 per student(check for discounts or rebates with your insurance carrier).
