| Our office recognizes Uponor/ Wirsbo fire sprinkler systems for the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) 13D fire sprinkler standard, which is the fire sprinkler standard used primarily for private homes, (whether or not it is a single or duplex unit), and manufactured housing. This system has the added advantage that if the fire sprinkler system is shut down, then so also is the domestic water supply, thereby insuring that the fire sprinkler system receives prompt attention during maintenance. Here is a list of those licensed plumbers who are currently also licensed as fire sprinkler contractors and who are qualified to install Wirsbo fire sprinkler systems in homes: |
