Emergency Medical Services for Children

The first phase consisted of developing a training program for EMS providers to be trained in how to help identify and talk with patients who may be at risk of attempting suicide. Information about Gatekeeper Training can be obtained from the Maine Youth Suicide Prevention Program.

Another project was playground safety and collecting data on school injuries. A School Injury Report Form was developed for this purpose and may be downloaded here.
