The Maine Justice Assistance Council will hold a public hearing on September 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maine Department of Public Safety in the Fallen Heroes Conference Room at 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta, ME. The agenda is to establish priorities for approximately $1 million of unallocated Recovery Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funding reserved for state initiatives and finalize grant award decisions for the Recovery Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) and 2009 STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant for those applicants who responded to the Request for Proposals (RFP).
