Maine Driving Dynamics

The Maine Driving Dynamics course is a driver improvement course that is aimed to improve a student's defensive driving awareness and abilities. This five-hour course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine's highways. Our goal is to save lives, prevent injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes.

A student who completes the course will receive a three-point credit on their driving record.

Other Driver Improvement Courses Available in Maine

           

The Maine Bureau of Highway Safety has approved the following driver improvement courses for satisfying the requirement for students needing a three-point credit on their Maine driving record.

AAA Driver Improvement Course

National Safety Council 6 or 8 Hour Classroom Course

Course Fees

• Under 65 years of age: $40
• Age 65 & over: $10

Points

Successful completion reduces your driving record point total by 3. The course may be taken for point reduction only once every 365 days.
