The Maine Department of Education is committed to providing the tools and resources educators need as they administer the Alternate ACCESS for ELLs (Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State-to-State for English Language Learners). As a member of the World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA) Consortium, Maine has access to quality-developed materials to support educators and students as they prepare for the Alternate ACCESS for ELLs.
