Professional Development Plans
Professional development assessment and planning is a process conducted annually by all programs receiving federal and/or State funding in support of professionalism of the field. It is a continuous cycle that considers the specific needs of both staff and program and supports teacher quality and program improvement and effectiveness. The needs are identified using one of the following four assessment instruments:
- Maine Adult Education Teacher Self-Assessment (RTF, 207KB)
- Vermont Individual Professional Development Plan (RTF, 2.3MB)
- Ohio Professional Development Planning Guide (DOC, 839KB)
- Local District Assessment. School districts have the option of creating this district- or school-specific assessment locally.
The PD Plan Form is now included in the CP Plan and can be found on page 13 of the FY 15 CP Plan
