International GED Testing Program

The Maine Department of Education, through a contract with the GED Testing Service of the American Council on Education, awards a Maine High School Equivalency Diploma to those candidates who have successfully tested through Pearson Vue's International GED Testing Program.

The only role the Maine Department of Education plays in the International Testing Program is the actual issuance of the equivalency diploma. All scoring and record keeping is now being done by GED Testing Service. The distribution of diplomas, official score reports, and transcripts are handled by Diploma Sender. Inquiries concerning any of these documents or services should be addressed directly to these agencies.

  • GED International. Locate a testing center and schedule your test.
