I hope that "general" conservation of wilderness, which would include the Appalachian Trail corridor and other wilderness protection, gets its due consideration in this process. 
 
Certainly, as a value judgment, there are those that feel that our recreational resources and the wilderness in general are expendable in the quest to generate more electricity.
