Other Causes of Hemlock Needle Yellowing

Natural Branch Shedding: Discrete branchlets turn yellow, then mottled brown, then brown. Finally needles fall off, leaving fine twigs.

Spruce Spider Mite Damage: Small chlorotic flecks result from mite feeding, heavy feeding causes large, bronze necrotic areas.
