Comprehensive Land Use Plan Revision

Last Updated: April 16, 2008

Public Workshops

Commission staff will host a series of informal public workshops in the spring of 2008.  A schedule of workshops is posted below.  The purpose of the workshops is to provide information about trends and issues, answer questions, and gather public feedback about the draft and important issues.  Written comments are welcome at any time during this process, and the staff is available to meet with organizations to discuss the Plan revision.

Following the Public Workshops and comment period, Commission staff will prepare a summary of comments and post it on the LURC website.  The staff will present the summary to the Commission and make general recommendations regarding how to revise the Public Workshop Draft in response to comments.  The staff will then revise the Workshop Draft in response to direction from the Commission. The public will have an opportunity to comment on the revised draft during subsequent Public Hearings.
