American eel young-of-year recruitment:
Use upstream passage at one site to quantify annual recruitment of young-of-year American eel.
American eel upstream passage and recruitment on the Kennebec River:
Use upstream passages at 1-3 sites to quantify annual recruitment, determine run timing, and obtain biological data.
Downstream passage and emigration of adult American eel:
Assist hydropower owners with design and evaluation of eel downstream passage and use DIDSON sonar at 3 hydropower sites in the Kennebec River watershed to quantify emigrants, and determine run timing.
