Lobster Zone C Council Meeting
Deer Isle Stonington High School
September 18, 2008 – 6:00 p.m.

 

The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by Chair Hilton Turner.

Vote to accept minutes from the August 14, 2008 minutes were approved by the council.

Election of Officers – same slate of Officers.

Zone Management Options Discussion – Motion to send out survey to have limited entry in the zone. Vote 6 yes, 3 no.

Double tagging discussion –show of hands, 1 yes and 7 opposed.

Herring- Steve Robbins asked the Council to petition the Commissioner & Deputy Commissioner of DMR to demand more days out in Area 1 – vote 7 yes, 1 abstention.

Next meeting to be scheduled in October.
