• Chafee Foster Care Independence Program - A program for older youth in the custody, or continued care of the Department of Health and Human Services. Includes State Plan and policy information.
• Child Abuse Action Network - A multi-disciplinary, public and private sector committee committed to enhancing the professional and public response to child abuse in Maine.

• Division of Licensing and Regulatory Services - Responsible for licensing medical and long term care facilities, assisted living, residential care, Private Non-Medical Institutions, mental health service providers, substance abuse agencies, and programs and services to children. The Division is also responsible for regulation of health care facilities and providers under the Certificate of Need Act, the Hospital Cooperation Act and laws pertaining to Continuing Care Retirement Communities.
