This course is designed for DHHS Program Managers, Program Administrators, and Administrative Staff who are responsible for competitively procuring services resulting in contracts in support of their program areas through Request for Proposals (RFP). The goal is to give staff an understanding of the competitive procurement process and learn how to prepare quality RFP's. Attendees will gain insight into: 1) The functions of the RFP team within the Division of Contract Management; 2) The role of the Department of Administrative and Financial Services Purchases; 3) Request for Proposals (RFP's) Development Process; 4) Timelines for Competitive Procurement Process; and 5) Other Competitive Procurement Tools.
