Understanding and Celebrating Differences:  Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Intended Audience: Department of Health and Human Services employees, Foster and Adoptive Parents and the staff of social service agencies providing services to clients of the Department

This one-day program is designed to lead participants to an understanding of the personality types defined by Katherine Briggs and Isabel Briggs-Myers and the impact differences have in human interaction in the workplace and other settings.  Participants will gain insight into their process for perceiving or gathering information, making decisions, and evaluating or coming to conclusion about the world around them.  The program will be delivered using a variety of methods including individual and small group activities, lecture, reading and discussion.
