NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION

 

Orientation Team

Intended Audience: DHHS Employees Only
All Programs are Scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This program is designed for employees who are newly employed by the Department of Health and Human Services.  Participants will be given an overview of the structure of the Department of Health and Human Services, and an introduction to the Personnel System and policies that apply to all Department employees. In addition, Orientation covers several mandatory courses such as:  Harassment, Americans with Disabilities Act, Language Access and Video Display Terminal Safety.  Confidentiality as it relates to the work of the Department is also covered.  Finally, this program gives new employees valuable information about their insurance program and the Maine State Employees Association. 

Registrations for this program come through Human Resources.

New Employees will be notified directly as to the dates, times and location they are to attend this orientation.  Other staff that are interested in attending this program are welcome to call Staff Education and Training at 287-9355 for information.
