Intended Audience: All DHHS Staff Only
This half-day program is designed to provide participants with a brief overview of the administrative hearing process and practical information to achieve an effective presentation at administrative appeal hearings. The Chief Administrative Hearing Officer from the Department's Division of Administrative Hearings will deliver information in traditional lecture format and encourages audience questions throughout the presentation. Specific problems in administrative hearing practices will be identified and discussed. In addition, relevant hand outs will be distributed. Finally, a 30 minute video of a mock hearing based on real facts will also be shown (time permitting).
